Mandelic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) in crystalline powder form, often used in topical cosmetic formulations designed for exfoliation and skin-renewing purposes. Due to its larger molecular structure compared to other AHAs, it is commonly chosen for gentle formulations including toners, masks, and gel-based exfoliants.

How to Use: Dissolve in water (preferably with gentle heating) and incorporate during the water phase or cool-down phase. Final formulation pH should be adjusted to remain between 3.5 and 4.5 for optimal performance.

Suggested Usage Rate: 1% – 10% (depending on formulation type and regulatory limits)
