Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate

Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate is a gentle yet broad spectrum preservative that is wonderful for use in natural products. Because this preservative is broad spectrum, it does not require the use of any co-preservatives or preservative boosters to properly stabilize a formulation.

In addition to its preservative benefits, this ingredient is moisturizing on the skin, and gentle enough for use in baby products. Please note that this preservative may need a pH buffer for optimum stability as it may lower pH in products.
