This extra coarse white crystalline sodium chloride is produced by the solar evaporation of seawater from the Great Salt Lake. The salt crystals are refined by washing with clean saturated brine to remove surface impurities drained of excess moisture, dried and screened to size. 

Solar Salt is used primarily as a water softener. It’s a great addition to bath products to help create a luxurious bath experience.
