Lavandin Grosso is a hybrid species, formed by crossing vera (true lavender) and spike varieties of lavender. It offers a familiar lavender-like aroma with a distinctive twist—sharper and more pronounced, featuring a bold camphoraceous note. A fresh take on a timeless classic!

The Lavandin plant is much larger than French or English lavender and is thereby able to produce a larger yield. The fragrance is a mixture of herbal, floral, and camphorous notes. Because of its higher camphor content, Lavandin Grosso has traditionally been used in a similar way to eucalyptus. Use as a middle to top note in your fragrance blends. 

How to Use:

  • Use in any cosmetic where you’d like to impart a camphorous, medicinal fragrance. 
  • Blends well with bergamot, cedarwood, clary sage, clove, lemon, citrus, patchouli, pine, rosemary, and thyme. 
  • Add essential oils to the cool down phase of your formulation.
