This non-GMO Leuconostoc-Radish is known in the industry to most as Leucidal. This preservative is based on an antimicrobial peptide originally derived from a lactic acid bacteria, which is capable of restricting the growth of other microorganisms by acidifying its environment. Shown to be weak against mold and therefore should be used with other preservatives or preservative booster. Leucidal also increases moisturization in the skin.
